The railway panel PC is designed to support the low power quad-core Intel® Atom™ processor E3845 1.91 GHz, and is equipped with a 12.1-inch XGA TFT LCD display with high brightness LED backlight (800 nits) and auto-dimming control, which allows a train operator to easily read any operational status messages, even under direct sunlight. Design for ease of use and maintenance, the GOT712-837 has an alternative keypad control on the front panel for easy access and cleaning purposes. Moreover, this feature-rich panel PC has an IP65 water/dust-proof front bezel, M12-type connectors with 1.5KV isolation and an anti-vibration design. The 12.1-inch railway panel computer is particularly suitable for demanding IIoT HMI applications in the railway sector, including tasks like monitoring and controlling speed, temperature and security, or for fleet management.
The Intel® Bay Trail SoC railway panel PC, GOT712-837, applies unique extended temperature technology with wide temperature range support (-25°C to +70°C) as well as fanless design, which requires zero fan maintenance cost. Its waterproof M12-type connectors ensure tight, robust connections for heavy vibration environments in railway applications, and the railway power module supports 10ms interruption (EN50155, S2) to protect the system against over/short electrical currents.

The high brightness EN50155 train panel PC GOT712-837 supports 16 GB onboard flash and one mSATA port. To meet various transportation application needs, it’s equipped with rich I/O connectivity including two isolated RS-232/422/485 COM ports, two isolated USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit LAN ports, 6-IN/2-OUT DIO, and one CAN bus. Two PCI Express Mini Card slots are available for wireless network connections. To ensure the 12.1” railway touch panel PC’s use in a variety of different locations, the rugged panel system supports various mounting selections for panel mount, wall mount, VESA arm and desktop stand. Furthermore, it is also ready for Windows® 8.1, WE8S, Windows® 7 or WES7.
