Axiomtek, one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of innovative, good performance and reliable PC-based industrial computer products is pleased to introduce the NA342R, its latest high-performance 1U rackmount network appliance platform designed to support the newest system-on-a-chip 22nm Intel® Celeron® J1900 quad-core processor (codename: Bay Trail). The x86-based network appliance NA342R supports 6 Gigabit Ethernet ports and aims to provide customers a powerful and cost-effective network appliance for VPN, content filtering, UTM, network security gateway, and firewall solutions.
Six Gigabit Ethernet ports with the Intel® Ethernet controller i211 are integrated into this unit with one pair of LAN bypass function. An easily accessible LAN port allows developers to customize and scale the product based on their solution requirements. The Intel® Bay Trail 1U rackmount network appliance system supports one DDR3L SO-DIMM slot with a maximum of up to 8 GB system memory. The Axiomtek NA342R also offers flexible storage options: two 2.5" SATA HDD and one CompactFlash type-II socket in default, or one 3.5" SATA HDD and mSATA (half size) for optional.

In order to address the various network application needs, the Axiomtek NA342R supports one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, one console RJ-45 port, and one VGA port. Two 2.5" SATA hard drive bays and one CompactFlash type-II socket are available for storing event logs. The network embedded system also supports mainstream Windows® 7, Windows® 8 and Linux operating systems.
