The CAPA842 supports high bandwidth DDR3L-1333 SO-DIMM with memory up to 8 GB. Designed with a fanless ultra-small form factor, the CAPA842 has excellent temperature tolerance for used in extremely harsh environments. With integrated Intel® Gfx graphics engine, up to 854MHz in turbo, this ultra-small 3.5-inch embedded single board computer provides completely new visual experiences, including faster media processing, full HD over HDMI, and spectacular HD playback, etc. Moreover, its multiple display outputs of HDMI, LVDS and VGA support dual views.

Axiomtek’s CAPA842 comes with advanced connectivity including four serial ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports with +5V/+12V selectable by BIOS, four USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernets with Intel® i210AT chipset, HD audio, SATA-300 port, CFast™ socket, and Digital I/O. Furthermore, one full-size PCI Express Mini Card with mSATA and one half-size PCI Express Mini Card are supported. The built-in Watchdog Timer keeps the system running smoothly to avoid permanent crashes. The platform runs well with Windows® 7 and 8 operating systems.
