Axiomtek - a world-renowned leader relentlessly devoted in the research, development and manufacture of series of innovative and reliable industrial computer products of high efficiency - is pleased to announce the launch of its robust RISC-based DIN-rail industrial IoT gateway, IFB125, which is powered by the low-power Freescale i.MX6UL processor in the ARM® Cortex™-A7 microarchitecture.
The extremely compact embedded IoT gateway is designed to be a ready-to-deploy platform for a wide variety of critical industrial IoT applications. It supports extended operating temperature ranging from -40°C to 70°C, and can withstand vibration up to 5G. Its flexible wide voltage range 9V - 48V DC power input with a lockable terminal block type connector also enhances its reliability in harsh environments. The RISC-based IFB125 is offering customers with high-performing, stable, and reliable technologies for remote control and remote monitoring management applications such as unmanned control room, industrial automation, automatic parking lot, traffic cabinet, etc.
“To meet most of Industrial IoT needs, the IFB125 supports multiple communication interfaces for maximum flexibility, including LAN, serial, USB, and digital I/O ports. The Industrial IoT gateway has a 256MB onboard memory that features data transfer rates of DDR3-1600, as well as 4GB eMMC flash memory onboard for storage. This embedded IoT gateway platform is equipped with one PCI Express Mini Card slot and one SIM card slot. Additionally, it supports DB9 connectors with both SPI and I2C function as communication protocols to suit specific applications,” said Jessie Wu, product manager of Software and Solution Division at Axiomtek. “We aim to provide a durable robust embedded gateway system to ensure the best performance for a variety of vertical markets, including smart grid, factory automation, and more IIoT applications.”
While measuring only 31 x 100 x 125 mm, the IFB125 comes with rich I/O connections including one RS-232/422/485 port, two 10/100 Mbps LAN ports, one USB 2.0 port, one 2-IN/1-OUT DIO, I2C, and SPI. LED indicators on the front panel show the status of the device. The industrial-grade DIN-rail embedded box PC has Yocto embedded Linux to provide an open standard operating system for software program development.
The IFB125 is going to be available now. For more product information or pricing, please visit our global website at www.axiomtek.com or contact one of our sales representatives at [email protected].
