In the smart factory of today, ‘predictive maintenance’, which means finding hidden faults before they occur and optimizing equipment uptime, is a vital part for improving overall productivity. Trough outfitting machinery with sensors and analyzing collected data, manufacturers can monitor and diagnose if a machine or component is showing signs of stress, and quickly predict and prevent failures before it wears out. Axiomtek’s rBOX800, a robust DAQ embedded controller based on Intel® Atom™ E3827 processor specifically made for data acquisition, can be used for applications such as predictive maintenance, data collection and device monitoring. With a modular design, customers can expand the rBOX800 quickly and easily by installing suitable I/O modules including COM/DIO/AI modules for basic connection and control and a high-speed analog module for high accuracy collection of signals such as vibration. The robust DAQ system also offers a wide array of standard connectivity and expansion options, such as USB, LAN, VGA, and serial ports. Additionally, the library for the mainstream SCADA and academic software such as LabVIEW and MATLAB is provided for software development. Through the seamless integration of software and hardware, the compact rBOX800 is a reliable, flexible and accurate IIoT tool for predictive maintenance application.
Axiomtek will also showcase its Microsoft Azure certified fanless embedded system and IIoT gateway system - the eBOX100-312-FL and ICO300. With this certification, both systems can ensure that customers get their IIoT solutions up and running quickly with hardware and software that has been pre-tested and verified to work with the Microsoft Azure IoT suite of services. The eBOX100-312-FL and ICO300 can be connected with devices such as RFID, sensor or digital signage via USB/LAN/COM ports which help users rapidly implementing IIoT applications and maximizing performance. These embedded computer systems are specifically designed for industrial control, facility monitoring systems, power plant automation, intelligent transportation systems, and more.
As an IoT-certified member under Microsoft Azure to ensure Axiomtek’s IoT solutions have been integrated into Azure cloud services, Axiomtek had been taking it the most critical mission to provide customers with turnkey solutions through its professional planning and implementation of IIoT projects.
